Pictures of Lucie

Here are some more pictures of Lucie.

Lucie's keeps growing and growing and growing...

Well, it has been a long time since our last post. Sorry! Since the last post, Lucie has grown and accomplished so much! She is now 5 months old and is getting cuter and cuter :) She started rolling over at the end of January (some), but is doing it much more now. In the past couple of weeks, she has hit a lot of milestones. Lucie has cut not one, but two teeth. That was very unpleasant for both her and us. Both bottom front teeth have pushed through now, so hopefully the hardest part is over (for now). She has also learned to sit alone for about 3-5 minutes. She really enjoys sitting and looking at her world from this perspective. She likes to play with lots of toys in front of her and usually falls over when she reaches for something that is farther away. She also started solids about a week and a half ago. Lucie ate rice cereal well. She has also had sweet potatoes and peas. She liked the sweet potatoes quite a bit, but has not really liked the peas. I think I will reintroduce those a little while later. Her diapers are starting to stink much more, since she has started solids, too.

Lucie squeals in delight and giggles a lot, too. She is becoming interested in her dog, Raven. Raven is also interested in Lucie, giving her lots of kisses from head to toe. Lucie gets to see both of her grandparents a lot--she gets a lot of attention and love. She had her last well-visit in mid-March, where she got her four month shots. She did pretty well...she only cried a little. She weights 16lbs, 2oz, so she is quite a chunk! She is in the 90th percentile for weight, 85th percentile for height, and 50th percentile for head circumference.

Since it has warmed up, we spend a lot of time going on stroller rides. Lucie enjoys looking at all the scenery and listening to the new sounds.

Well, I will not wait so long for the next post. Enjoy the pictures and feel free to send us a message on our website!

Love,
John, Stacy, & Lucie
